Fusepay, the Seychelles-based FinTech startup, has launched Fuse360, an AI-native operating system designed for wholesalers, distributors, and manufacturers across the Indian Ocean and Africa.

“We realised that improving payments alone would never solve the operational complexity trade businesses face every day. Operations and financial workflows needed to be designed together from the beginning. That insight became the foundation for Fuse360,” says the company in a statement.

The platform brings inventory, orders, invoicing, collections, customer credit, and payments into a single connected system, with AI agents that automate repetitive back-office tasks such as payment reconciliation, collection follow-ups, reporting, and dead stock detection.

Fuse360 includes AI-powered credit intelligence that analyses payment behaviour, outstanding exposure, and historical payment patterns to help wholesalers make more informed decisions before extending trade credit.

Fuse360 works alongside Fusepay’s existing financial product, FusePay, which enables businesses to collect payments, pay suppliers, and manage financial workflows through infrastructure licensed by the Central Bank of Seychelles.

Together, the two products form what the company describes as an AI-native operating and financial OS for trade businesses, where operations and payments are synchronised automatically rather than managed across disconnected systems.

Fuse360 launched in the Seychelles in July 2026. The company plans to expand into Mauritius in September 2026, followed by selected East and southern African markets before the end of the year.

Fusepay says the operational challenges faced by trade businesses are remarkably similar across emerging markets, making Seychelles an ideal place to build, validate, and scale the platform before expanding across the continent.

Founded by Vidhyasahar Thiyagarajan and Francesco Rocchi, Fusepay has raised more than $350k in pre-Seed funding from Hustle Fund, Everywhere Ventures, First Check Ventures, and Startup Istanbul, with additional investment from Velocity Digital and angel investor Ashwin Ravichandran.

Both founders grew up inside trade businesses. Thiyagarajan’s family has run a retail business in Seychelles for more than 35 years, while Rocchi’s family has operated a wholesale business for over 13 years.

They experienced both sides of the trade relationship first-hand, from handwritten invoices and paper filing systems to manual collections and reconciliation, before returning to solve those problems with technology.

The platform also introduces a dedicated retailer portal where retail and hospitality businesses can place orders, access invoices, download statements, review outstanding balances, and communicate directly with their suppliers without relying on phone calls, emails, or messaging apps.

The platform also supports Know Your Business (KYB) and Know Your Customer (KYC) onboarding, helping wholesalers build stronger customer records before extending trade credit.
