Nigeria’s NairaHost, a growing provider of cloud and web hosting services, has officially announced its acquisition of KingHost.

Following the deal, KingHost is now wholly owned by Adedeji Innovations Ltd, the parent company behind NairaHost.

The acquisition of KingHost is more than a change in ownership. It represents a deliberate investment in building a stronger and more diversified hosting ecosystem capable of serving individuals, businesses, developers, agencies, and resellers across Nigeria and beyond,” said the company.

Under the leadership of CEO Omoniyi Adedeji Samuel, KingHost will continue to operate as an independent, customer-facing brand, but will now be officially known as “KingHost — Powered by NairaHost.”

The acquisition helps KingHost keep its unique identity while connecting it to the advanced systems and experience of the NairaHost network.

KingHost has always offered reliable hosting solutions, and now its customers will enjoy a stronger operational backbone. As a result, KingHost users will have access to:

  • Access to a wider range of hosting and infrastructure services
  • Improved service automation and account management
  • Stronger operational and technical backing through the NairaHost ecosystem
  • Access to web hosting, WordPress hosting and reseller hosting solutions
  • Linux VPS, Windows VPS and Storage VPS options
  • Domain registration, transfer and renewal services
  • SSL certificates and other web infrastructure products
  • Continued investment in reliability, service delivery and platform development

KingHost’s acquisition allows it to utilise NairaHost’s Domain and Product Reseller platforms, helping to grow its product offerings over time.

For Adedeji Innovations Ltd, this acquisition is part of a larger strategy to meet the increasing demand for digital services, websites, and business email in Nigeria.

“Rather than removing the KingHost identity, the focus is to strengthen it,” the company mentioned.

According to the company, the next phase will focus on enhancing the KingHost platform, broadening services, and improving customer experience while keeping the brand’s independent identity. Customers can expect ongoing development in hosting, domains, reseller services, and VPS products as KingHost evolves under new ownership.
