Turuq Innovations, an Egyptian logistics and fulfilment startup for e-commerce brands, has raised a Seed round from Den VC. However, the amount was not disclosed.

The deal comes a year after Turuq joined InvestIT, an investment-readiness programme run by the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC), and powered by Flat6Labs.

Flat6Labs is a major entrepreneurial platform in the Middle East and Africa, operating in 15 countries. It supports entrepreneurs at various stages through startup programs and advisory services for startups, organizations, and governments. Since its start in 2011 in Cairo, it has helped over 10,000 founders in Africa, the Levant, and the GCC.

InvestIT trains startups in fundraising, business model refinement and data room preparation, and keeps helping alumni meet investors after they graduate.

“With this investment, we’re committed to building a stronger foundation at Turuq and developing the capabilities to support the growth of e-commerce logistics in Egypt. We’re investing in our people, strengthening our internal operations, and building reliable infrastructure so e-commerce founders can grow and operate with confidence,” said Ahmed Atta, co-founder of Turuq.

Founded by Ahmed Atta and Karim Kamal, Turuq is a technology-driven third-party logistics company. It runs one platform that covers warehousing, inventory management, order packing, nationwide shipping and last-mile delivery.

The platform includes real-time tracking, automated dispatching, and optimised courier routes. It works with a growing number of e-commerce brands across Egypt. Atta and Kamal founded the company so online sellers don’t have to build their own logistics operations.

Turuq will use the new capital to expand its technology infrastructure, increase the capacity of its fulfilment centres and widen its presence in regional logistics and e-commerce services.

Its future plans focus on three main areas:

  • Organisational and Operational Scaling: Strengthening teams and core functions to support growth.
  • Micro-Fulfillment Model: Using technology to enhance logistics operations for higher order volumes and efficiency.
  • Market and Product Expansion: Improving the logistics network to reach more e-commerce businesses and exploring new product categories and regions.

“Everything at Turuq comes back to people: our team, the founders building their businesses with us, and their customers on the other end of every order. This investment means we can serve all three better, and that’s what makes us proud,” said Karim Kamal, Co-Founder of Turuq
