Journify, a Moroccan and San Francisco-headquartered provider of ad signal infrastructure, has raised a $12 million Series A at four times its previous valuation. Al Mada Ventures led the round, with returning investor Silicon Badia as co-lead. Shorooq and Bunat Ventures increased their stakes, while Du Ventures and Oraseya Capital joined as new investors.

Ad platforms learn from the signals brands send back, such as purchases and sign-ups. Browser limits, broken tracking and offline sales that never reach the platforms mean they often see only part of the picture. Dentsu expects algorithms to place three-quarters of global ad spend by 2028.

“AI is transforming advertising, but the intelligence behind it is only as good as the signals it receives. Businesses know who buys, who comes back and what creates lasting customer value. Too little of that knowledge reaches the ad platforms driving their growth. Our vision is to close that gap, turning real customer outcomes into intelligence ad platforms can learn from. We’re building toward a future where advertising AI understands what makes a customer valuable to each business, not just what makes them click,” said Taoufik El Jamali, Co-Founder and CEO of Journify.

Taoufik El Jamali, Amine Chouki, and Omar Al Shoubaki founded Journify in 2022. It has offices in Dubai and Riyadh.

The company connects a brand’s web, mobile, offline sales, CRM, e-commerce, and backend data, then checks the conversion events and sends them to Google, Meta, TikTok, Snap and Amazon Ads.

More than 100 businesses use it, together spending hundreds of millions of dollars a year on ads. Jarir Bookstore, one of Saudi Arabia’s largest retailers, raised its return on ad spend on Meta by 182%. Saudi ecommerce brand Baytonia grew its return on ad spend on TikTok by 80% and cut its cost per purchase by 44%. Journify holds a SOC 2 Type II report and says it is committed to GDPR compliance.

“As AI takes on a greater role in marketing, we believe the connection between reliable customer data and the decisions built on it will become increasingly valuable. What interests us about Journify is its approach to building that connection from the data layer up: a privacy-first foundation that can evolve into intelligence and action,” says Omar Laalej, Managing Director at Al Mada Ventures.

Al Mada Ventures is based in Casablanca and focuses on investing in companies that are innovative and sustainable. It is supported by African capital and has a long history of investing in the region. The firm aims to partner with entrepreneurs to help them grow their ideas on a global scale.

The new funding will go towards the US and European launch and towards Journify’s AI tools. Today, the AI monitors every connection, spots signal-quality problems and fixes them. It also powers AI Insights, which answers questions about ad performance. Digital ad revenue in the US reached $294.6 billion in 2025, according to IAB and PwC.

Ryan Burke, a three-time Chief Revenue Officer who has joined Journify’s board, said he expects the model to work in the US.

“I’m excited to help Journify scale in the biggest ad market in the world. Based on the success they’re already seeing in the Middle East, it’s not a question whether it works in the US, but how fast we can scale,”said Ryan Burke, board member at Journify.

The round follows an earlier strategic investment that doubled Journify’s valuation as it grew across the GCC. According to Launchbase Africa, digital ad spend in the GCC is projected to reach $12.4 billion in 2026.
