Propartners, a licensed crowdfunding platform in Ghana, will launch Impact Note 1 Tranche 1, the first tranche under its Impact Note 1 Note Programme, on 1 October 2026, with a campaign target of $207k (GHS 2.4 million).

Tranche 1 is the first offer under the Impact Note 1 Medium-Term Note Programme. The programme runs through PCS PLC, a special purpose vehicle set up to raise money from eligible investors and pass it on to selected small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

“Impact Note 1 represents an important step in our mission to make private capital more accessible to productive businesses while creating structured investment opportunities for retail and institutional investors. We believe the future of finance will be increasingly digital, inclusive and structured. Our responsibility is to build the infrastructure, governance and investor confidence required to make that future work,” said Wisdom Anku, Chief Executive Officer of Propartners.

The Tranche 1 notes run for three years and are unsecured. Their interest rate floats with the 365-day Bank of Ghana Treasury Bill rate, plus a margin of 350 basis points for senior noteholders and 700 basis points for other noteholders. Interest is paid every six months, and the principal is repaid in one payment at maturity.

The campaign will run from 1 October to 30 November 2026 on the Propartners crowdfunding platform, Propartners54.com. Investors must meet the eligibility, onboarding and subscription rules to take part. Propartners said returns are not guaranteed and that investing in securities and SME credit carries risk.

Four institutions are involved. Propartners Exchange Limited is the lead party and will originate, structure and run the campaign. First National Bank Ghana Limited is the trustee for noteholders. Zenith Bank Ghana Limited is the custodian and escrow bank. Fincap Securities Limited is the transaction adviser.

“The collaboration demonstrates the potential for regulated crowdfunding to operate alongside established financial-market institutions to create new channels for capital mobilisation and SME financing,” says the platform

The campaign will open with a bell-ringing ceremony on 1 October. Regulators, institutional investors, business leaders and SME representatives are among the invited guests.

Propartners is a Ghanaian licensed crowdfunding intermediary and platform. It connects businesses that need capital with investors looking for structured investments.

The company is building an investment crowdfunding system that gives businesses access to private capital through a regulated digital platform.

The money raised will go through the SPV to two pre-qualified Ghanaian SMEs: Volta Greens Limited Company and Yes Chef Company Limited. Both were assessed on their operations, financial capacity, ability to repay, management, governance and credit risk.
