US-based Replit, the agentic creation platform that helps people turn ideas into apps, websites, products and new businesses has acquired Atta, an Egypt-founded business analysis and charting company.
The deal was announced on 25 September 2026 and the financial terms were not disclosed. Post acquisition, Atta’s charting technology and analysis approach will now be part of Replit.
The first feature is live: users can create interactive charts directly in Replit chat. They open a conversation, upload a dataset or connect a data source, and ask a question. Replit’s platform analyses the data and shows the results as charts built with Atta’s technology.
“Our mission is to make useful intelligence accessible to everyone. For businesses, that means giving the people closest to a problem the ability to investigate it, explain what they find, and act on their expertise,” says Replit.
Users can also ask Replit Agent to “visualise this” or request a specific chart. Replit picks a chart type to suit the data and the question. A waterfall chart can show a change in revenue, for example, and a heatmap can show patterns in customer retention. The US company says it handles the queries and analysis steps, so users do not need to write SQL.
Atta was founded by Omar Shaik and Amine Ben Khalifa, and both founders are joining Replit. The company builds a purpose-built charting system. Its charts are consistent, interactive and on-brand, and labels, spacing and layouts adjust when a chart is resized.
TheSan Francisco-headquartered company says this saves teams from fixing slides and visuals before a leadership review or a cross-team update.
“Our longer-term vision is of self-driving companies, where employees feel promoted and capable from end-to-end. Data analysis should be woven into that work, not confined to a separate tool or specialist workflow,” says the company.
Founded in 2016, Replit is a software platform based in San Francisco that allows users to create applications using natural language. Companies like Atlassian, Adobe, and Accenture use it, and it partners with major brands like Google, Microsoft, and Slack.
The acquisition comes a couple of weeks after opening its first international office in London for its European operations.
