Career 180, a career development platform in Egypt, has launched KEMET-X, an event designed to connect Egyptian and African startups with global investors, venture capitalists, corporations, and tech companies.
The flagship event is scheduled for 14–15 December 2026 at the Great Pyramids of Giza, and is expected to bring together more than 200 partners, startups, and VC firms from over 50 countries, alongside founders, corporates, government representatives, and technology leaders.

Career 180 is an Egypt-based career development platform. Through KEMET-X, the company aims to position Egypt as a meeting point for global entrepreneurship and investment, while giving African founders the opportunity to connect with international capital, markets, and expertise.
The Egyptian company says the participating funds collectively represent approximately $5 billion in capital across five continents, a figure that reflects the funds represented at the gathering, not capital committed or invested in Egypt.
KEMET-X will focus on connecting startups with capital, international markets, expertise, and potential partnerships, with a particular focus on strengthening links between Egypt, Africa, and the wider global entrepreneurship ecosystem.
The initiative also includes the KEMET-X Tracks Challenge, spanning business, creative industries, technology, intellectual property, and innovation.
Over the years, Career 180 have engaged with a considerable audience through various services and events. Their statistics reflect this effort, including over 170,000 attendees at online and offline courses.
They have hosted more than 1,500 speakers and mentors and built a community of over 250,000 members. They have conducted more than 6,000 sessions and reached 200,000 users, collaborating with over 500 sponsors.
