UMAMI E-Learning Solutions, the Egyptian EdTech company, has announced the launch of its Learning Operating System (LOS), backed by a phased investment plan exceeding $1 million (EGP 50 million).
The platform is designed to serve governments, ministries, educational institutions, and large enterprises across Egypt and the wider MENA region.
According to the company, LOS unifies learning, skills, performance, and decision-making into a single ecosystem.
The Egyptian company says the product was built after the company repeatedly observed the same problem across projects in more than 35 countries: institutions were spending heavily on learning but had no unified way to connect training activities with actual workforce and organisational outcomes.
The platform works across formal education, healthcare, technical and vocational training (TVET), and corporate environments,

Our focus is on leveraging AI and intelligent architectures to fundamentally redefine how organisations and governments develop human capability across Egypt and the wider region,” said Ahmed Seif El-Din, co-founder and CEO of UMAMI E-Learning Solutions.
Founded in 2019 by Ahmed Seif El-Din, UMAMI develops digital learning and workforce development solutions for governments, educational institutions and enterprises.
The launch follows UMAMI’s recognition as one of the first companies in Egypt to receive the official Startup Label Certificate under the national Startup Charter, a state-recognised framework for the tech and entrepreneurship ecosystem aligned with Egypt’s Vision 2030.
The charter aims to support up to 5,000 startups, generate approximately 500,000 direct and indirect jobs, and accelerate access to international markets over the next five years.
UMAMI was also recently named among the 2026 Top 100 Entrepreneurs in Africa by African Business Heroes.
