Stratos Lab, a South African neocloud provider, ECOBLOX, a Dubai-based AI compute infrastructure company, and Digital Parks Africa, a South African data centre operator, have partnered to launch what they describe as Africa’s most powerful AI cloud.
The deployment will deliver 7.2 exaflops of performance, powered by more than 50 NVIDIA B300 HGX GPU servers containing over 400 GPUs supplied by Taiwanese OEM Giga Computing, a GIGABYTE Group company.
The partnership brings together four different capabilities. Stratos Lab handles the cloud service layer, offering GPU-as-a-Service, managed platform services, and bare-metal orchestration for enterprise AI workloads including model training, inferencing, and agent-as-a-service.
ECOBLOX, an NVIDIA Preferred Partner, provides system integration covering GPU cluster design, procurement, installation, and performance optimisation, along with modular infrastructure and cloud software stacks.
Digital Parks Africa provides the physical data centre, built to Uptime Tier III standards, with the power management and cooling needed to sustain high-density AI deployments.
Giga Computing, a Taiwanese company, specializes in GPU servers and has the largest product portfolio in the world. With numerous certifications and strong expertise, Giga Computing delivers innovative solutions with excellent performance and cost-effectiveness for its partners.

The deployment aims to solve issues that have restricted AI computing in Africa, such as limited power, cooling needs, and long wait times for hardware.
By running workloads locally instead of sending them to data centers in Europe or the US, the partnership claims it can provide faster performance and lower costs for African companies.
